During the Hebrew course we gave out forms they could give feedback. At the end these are some of the things they said.

At the top of the website is our motto: Teaching God’s Word to the People of the South Pacific. For the next few weeks I will be helping to teach a course in Hebrew at the headquarters of Wycliffe Bible Translators (know here as SIL) in Papua New Guinea!

We got rain! Last Tuesday night is started a slow rain began and lasted till almost 1/2 of an inch fell. That was a good start - it moistened the ground and put some water in the tanks. We were so thankful, but a half an inch does not break the drought...

Thirteen years ago we were mercifully on furlough in the US. That was when El Niño hit. It lasted 8 months and people died. During that time, the longest it went between significant rains at CLTC was 31 days. That was then. Now, it’s been 42 days…

Today was my turn to teach the early (7 am!) youth Bible study. This is the Bible study the former gang leader started. (He is now at a Bible school in another province.) God gave me a bit of extra grace in safety on the way there...
