A Necessary Evil or an Opportunity for Blessing? Print E-mail
Friday, 21 June 2013

It would be very easy to view the whole financial side of missions as something that is unsavory and something that must simply be endured. Paul, however, took a different stance (2 Cor. 9:6ff). He saw giving as something that would result in the face of God being turned towards the giver (see my post on "Blessing"). In my own life I know that this blessing refers, at least in part, to the joy of seeing God take my meager gift and do something amazing with it....

God is doing amazing things in Papua New Guinea. Many Christian leaders have an unquenchable thirst to study God's Word. It is incredible to be a part of it! But this is not just my privilege, or the privilege of my family, it is the privilege of every person who gives to this work that God is doing. Right now we are $450 short of our minimum monthly support... and we leave in just 17 days. Would you consider joining us in this work?

Prayer Point: Please pray that God would compel everyone He wants to give to the work He is doing in PNG to do so.
